श्रीगङ्गामहिम्नस्तोत्रम् – २ (Śrīgaṅgāmahimnastotram – 2)

श्रीगङ्गामहिम्नस्तोत्रम् (१९९७) की रचना के विषय के विषय में पिछली कड़ी में बताया गया था। इस कड़ी में इसके प्रकाशन से सम्बन्धित जानकारी दी जा रही है। श्रीगङ्गामहिम्नस्तोत्रम् का गुरुदेव द्वारा प्रणीत हिन्दी टीका के साथ प्रथम प्रकाशन राघव साहित्य प्रकाशन निधि, हरिद्वार, द्वारा गङ्गा दशहरा संवत् २०५४ (तदनुसार जून १५, १९९७ ई) के दिन किया गया। स्तोत्र की लोकप्रियता बहुत अधिक बढ़ जाने के कारण आस्तिक जनता की माँग को ध्यान में रखते हुए इस पुस्तक को गङ्गा दशहरा संवत् २०६७ (तदनुसार जून १३, २००९ ई) के दिन जगद्गुरु रामभद्राचार्य विकलाङ्ग विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा पुनः प्रकाशित किया गया। इस द्वितीय संस्कारण के प्रकाशन की व्ययसेवा हरे कृष्ण सेवान्यास समिति (पंजीकृत), ए-१५९ आशियाना कैंट रोड मुरादाबाद (उ०प्र०), के द्वारा की गयी। श्रीराघव परिवार इस समिति का आभारी है। पुस्तक का मूल्य मात्र दस रुपये है। The composition of Śrīgaṅgāmahimnastotram (1997) was described in the previous post. In this post, some information about its publication is given. Śrīgaṅgāmahimnastotram, along with a Hindi commentary by Gurudeva himself, was first published by Shri Raghav Sahitya Prakashan Nidhi, Haridvar, on June 15 1997, the day of Ganga Dussehra. The Stotra was quite popular and keeping in mind the demand of religious people, its second edition was published by Jagadguru Rambhadracharya Handicapped University on June 13 2009, also the day of Ganga Dussehra. The publications cost of the second edition was borne by Hare Krishna Seva Nyas Samiti, A-151 Ashiyana Cantt Road Muradabad (U. P.). The Śrīrāghavaparivāra is indebted to the Samiti for their generous gesture. The book is priced at INR 10 only. श्रीगङ्गामहिम्नस्तोत्रम् का दूसरा श्लोक भी शिखरिणी छन्द में है। The second verse of Śrīgaṅgāmahimnastotram is also in the Śikhariṇī metre.

समुद्भूता भूम्नश्चरणवनजातान्मधुरिपो- स्ततो धातुः पात्रे गदितगुणगात्रे समुषिता । पुनः शम्भोश्चूडासितकुसुममालायिततनुः सुरान्त्रीन्सत्कर्त्तुं किल जगति जागर्षि जननि ॥

samudbhūtā bhūmnaścaraṇavanajātānmadhuripo- stato dhātuḥ pātre gaditaguṇagātre samuṣitā । punaḥ śambhoścūḍāsitakusumamālāyitatanuḥ surāntrīnsatkarttuṃ kila jagati jāgarṣi janani ॥

अन्वय – भूम्नः मधुरिपोः चरणवनजातात् समुद्भूता। ततः गदितगुणगात्रे धातुः पात्रे समुषिता। पुनः शम्भोः चूडासितकुसुममालायिततनुः। जननि। जगति किल त्रीन् सुरान् सत्कर्त्तुं जागर्सि। भावार्थ – हे माँ गङ्गे! आप सर्वप्रथम वेदवेद्य भूमा मधुसूदन भगवान् नारायण के चरणकमल से प्रकट हुईं, तदनन्तर जिस कमण्डलु के प्रत्येक अंग की गुणावलि का गान वेदों ने किया है, भगवान् ब्रह्माजी के उसी पवित्र जलपात्र (कमण्डलु) में विश्राम लिया, पुनः भगवान् शंकर की चूड़ामणि की कुसुममाला बनकर आपने अलौकिक शोभा प्राप्त की । वस्तुतः इन तीनों देवताओं को सम्मानित करने के लिए ही आप संसार में जागरूक हैं क्योकि यदि आपकी पूर्वोक्त ये तीनों लीलाएँ न रही होतीं तो कदाचित् विधिहरिहर का इतना सम्मान न होता। “O mother Gaṅgā! To begin with, you manifested from the lotus-feet of the all-pervading Viṣṇu, the slayer of the demon named Madhu. Then, you rested in the creator Brahmā‘s pious water-jar, the virtues of whose parts have been sung by the Vedas. And again, you formed the garland of flowers for the locks of  the auspicious Śiva. Verily, you are awake (have arisen) in this world to honour the three deities of Brahmā, Viṣṇu and Śiva. Had you not performed the three actions, perhaps Brahmā, Viṣṇu and Śiva would not have been honoured so much.
